Relationship Counselling
Here are some examples of different types of relationships I can support you through.
Romantic
Addressing your relationship via individual counselling can be powerful. We have to take careful consideration when dealing with your personal history and the history of your partner. After this, we can then move into couple’s therapy should you wish. Unknowingly, we can take a lot of unresolved issues and trauma into our relationships which then can impact the quality and the health of a relationship over time. If you think this is you, then I can help.
Unhealthy
These types of relationships appear in every area of life whether its romantic, friendship, an employer, a sibling, parents and so forth. It is crucial for your mental health and overall wellbeing to work through these relationships so that you can lead a happy/fulfilled life.
Friendship
Are you struggling with a current friendship? A friendship ending hits hard, equally as hard as a romantic break up. However, we don’t always acknowledge the pain of losing someone who was once so close to us and knew us so well. Friendships can be influenced by so many different factors and can leave us with a sense of great loss as well as confusion. Maybe you are struggling to make as well as keep friends. This is something I can support you with as the world can feel a nicer place when we have someone to travel life with.
Family
Within most families there is challenge at some point in our lives together. Having different people with varying experiences can really stir things up when stressors hit. Expectations, boundary issues, different beliefs and values plus generational trauma or messages can be a heady mix. I can support you through seeing a clearer way through your differences.
